Day 1. PUNO – UROS Floating Islands (ISLAS FLOTANTES) and AMANTANI
- Pick up at hotel in Puno and then transfer to the pier to take the motor boat towards the Uros Floating Islands. Meet our local family.
- Continue our journey towards “Amantani Island (3,817 msnm).
- Lunch
- Will take a walk to the pre-Inca temples of Pachatata (‘father earth’) y Pachamama (‘mother earth’).
- Night Lodging at family house in Amantani
- In the evening, visitors are invited to a local party in the folklore saloon
Day 2. AMANTANI – Taquile Island and return to Puno in the afternoon
- Breakfast in a family house
- Walk down to the harbor to take the boat towards “Taquile Island” (1 hour trip aprox.)
- Typical lunch with fresh fish
- In the afternoon, motor boat back to Puno.
